Motorola snatches up Aloqa GmbH in hopes of strengthening Blur

Location-based software developer, Aloqa was purchased by Motorola earlier today with the intent of adding location integration services into Motorola’s Blur interface. Implementation of Aloqa’s software into Blur turns the phone into a semi-personal assistant through offering information about near by events from local stores that are having a sale to concerts and movies that Aloqa fetches. At this moment it is unknown when Aloqa’s services will be rolled in with Blur but we’ll be sure to let you know when it happens.
